Throughout the domain of the Manchester Phoenix Faithful, today marks the day when the new Phoenix calendars are put on the wall, with team captain Luke Boothroyd as the poster boy for January.
It's a big day for me too, as regular readers will probably know that the portraits for the calendar were taken by yours truly!
Many thanks to those who bought a calendar, I hope that it brings you as much joy as making it brought to me!
This evening I indulged my not-so-secret passion for shooting the moon, and got this shot hand-held from just outside my front door:
